# v1 (current)

Fringe v1 features a combination of essential DeFi lending primitives. It allows lenders the ability to deposit their $USDC as a capital asset and gives users the option to borrow against 40+ collateral assets — all on the Ethereum Mainnet.

We [announced](https://fringefinance.medium.com/mainnet-live-announcement-4ab3070a0899) the first release of Fringe’s non-custodial [Primary Lending Platform (PLP)](/fringe-finance-docs/plp/fringe-lending.md) on the Ethereum Mainnet for public access on June 24th 2022.

Starting from this date, lenders may deposit $USDC to the Primary Lending Platform to earn interest, while borrowers may deposit their whitelisted tokens as collateral to take out $USDC loans.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.fringe.fi/fringe-finance-docs/product-versions/v1-current.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
