# v2 (live)

The release of Fringe's v2 will be staggered into two parts: [v2.1 ](/v2-fringe-finance-platform-docs/product-versions/v2-live/v2.1.md)and [v2.2](/v2-fringe-finance-platform-docs/product-versions/v2-live/v2.2.md). 

This allows us to roll out our new features in a more controlled and measured way.

With v2, we’ve expanded on our previous offerings to provide a more robust and competitive platform. Fringe v2 is launching on [five different blockchains](/v2-fringe-finance-platform-docs/platform-overview/multi-chain-support.md): Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon,  Optimism, and zkSync.
